About me
My approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed care, woven together with the principles of liberation psychology. This means I do not just teach coping skills. I help you understand how your environment, relationships, and past experiences have shaped your responses, all while honoring your innate capacity for agency and change.
I believe therapy is a collaborative space where you are the expert on your own life. Together, we will balance acceptance, which means you are doing your best right now, with change, which means you deserve to feel better. Expect practical tools for managing intense emotions alongside deeper exploration of what keeps you feeling stuck.
You will find our work together is easy to talk about, with no jargon, no judgment, just real conversation. I am LGBTQ+ allied and affirming of all gender identities, expressions, and sexual orientations. My work is rooted in helping clients reclaim their agency, because healing is not about being fixed but about remembering your own power.
